Summary

What if we were to tell you in 6 years your love life would like entirely different in the best way possible? We're so excited to bring you this episode where we check in with some of the members of the Dateable community – many that we got to know super well over the pandemic from our Sounding Board Community + Programs – to see what has changed in their love lives and the biggest shifts they made that helped them date differently. We discuss how to meet someone from the apps to a grocery store, why ending things with the 'wrong person' helped get to the right one, and the ways truly understanding yourself and your patterns helped unblock what was holding you back. Hi, I'm U.E.S.U. And I'm Julie Craftchick. We're active daters turned dating insiders.

Here to dive into everything, modern dating and relationships. Welcome to Datable.

Hello, friends. Welcome back to another episode of Datable. We have such a treat for you all today because, I don't know, if you've been along with us since the beginning, we've been around for 10 years, 10 plus years. And in those years, we've collected many friends and listeners. We've been following their journeys, especially around their love lives. And some of them,

0:39.6

we have back on this episode to give us an update of what's been going on for them.

0:45.1

I love this so much. It makes me so happy to rehear from some of these people because I think,

0:52.0

you know, clearly we've been going for 10 years, but it was really in that

0:55.2

2020 COVID era that we got really close with a lot of our listeners because the Facebook group,

1:02.1

everything was virtual. If you weren't around for that era, you may not be aware that we used to

1:07.5

have this thing called the sounding board and we had this Facebook group that

1:11.5

we'd basically do like these weekly happy hours that like members would come on and they would

1:18.2

get really deep with each other and with us. We did one-on-one sessions with a lot of them. And maybe you

1:23.9

were in that era and you're like, oh, that time. That's like probably the fondest memory I have of COVID.

1:29.5

Everything else maybe can go away.

1:31.3

But I did really love that time because I feel like it allowed us to really connect with people.

1:36.7

Instead of just seeing like an Instagram follower or like a number of a download.

1:41.0

Like it was like we got the story of like who it was listening to this

1:45.2

and like how this podcast and being in this community really changed their love lives.

1:50.7

It was, I don't want to do Zoom calls or happy hours again, but that was just the perfect

1:58.1

time. Yes. It was the perfect time to do this because we had this weekly grounding time with each other and to remind each other we're not alone and to say like, hey, we are all in this together.

2:12.2

And look, here's some friendly faces that we can talk to on a weekly basis.

2:16.3

And as a result of those memories, we've

2:19.9

developed these friendships with so many of you all who are part of this community. And a lot of you
