Summary
In the early 2000s, Dave Spinks set out on a quest to uncover the truth behind one of America’s most infamous legends—the Mothman of Point Pleasant. What began as a deep dive into the chilling sightings of the 1960s quickly turned into something far more unsettling. With each visit to the area, he peeled back layers of mystery, revealing an eerie web of supernatural occurrences that stretched far beyond the Mothman itself.
For two decades the deeper this native West Virginian dug, the stranger the stories became—whispers of banshees wailing in the night, shadowy cryptids lurking in the forests, UFOs lighting up the sky, and even the presence of witches practicing ancient rites. But this wasn’t just folklore. Spinks himself experienced bizarre phenomena, documenting an overwhelming amount of paranormal evidence that suggested Point Pleasant was a true hotbed of the unknown.
