0:33.8	We are nearing the end of Genesis and today we take a look at four chapters.
0:39.3	Genesis 43 through 46 covers a lot of narrative and gives us quite a few facts about Joseph's
0:46.0	reconciliation with his family and their eventual move to Egypt.
0:51.5	So instead of just rehashing a lot of the details, we are going to take a look at how God
0:56.7	was sovereignly working on both a macro and a micro level.
1:02.1	In other words, how he worked in the personal lives of this family, but also in the grand
1:07.6	narrative of Scripture to bring about his promises.
1:11.4	So first, let's talk about Jacob.
1:14.8	We have watched Jacob struggle with the Lord throughout the course of his life, from scheming
1:20.0	to manipulation, to favoritism, to a lack of trust in the Lord.
1:24.8	Jacob has physically and spiritually wrestled with God.
1:29.1	But just as the Lord worked in his heart at Bethel, God continues to work.
1:33.8	I'm not sure if you noticed, but throughout these chapters, we read the two names of this
1:39.3	patriarch interchangeably.
