Tiffany here, and we are getting so close to our completion of Ezekiel.

Today and tomorrow, we will close out our time in these final chapters that speak about the

future and eternal blessings we have in Christ as we dwell in the presence of our great God.

As we established the last couple of days, these chapters leave us with a lot of question

marks concerning how and when all the details listed

will occur. But they also remind us of the concrete truths we can stake our lives on as we wait.

That theme will continue today as we look at Ezekiel chapters 42 through 44. In chapter 42, Ezekiel is still in the vision of the new temple.

This chapter completes the list of dimensions for the various aspects of the temple, specifically the chambers for the priests.

These were the rooms where the priests prepared for their

duties and where they left their holy garments when they went out in public. As we've seen throughout

our journey, God is a god of order, and that is no different even in this vision of the new

temple. This chapter ends with the complete dimensions of the temple

complex. If you have a study Bible, you can see a rendering of the new temple and note that it is

perfectly symmetrical. We also note that there is no separate court for the Gentiles or for women. In the new temple, all who worship

the Lord and follow Christ will be welcome. Now that Ezekiel has toured this new temple,

he is taken to the east gate, and it is there that he sees God's glory descend in a roar and enter the temple.
