the Bible chronologically.

Together, we will explore God's sovereign plan as the events of Scripture unfold and

point to Jesus.

Tiffany here, and today we study some interesting chapters within Ezekiel.

I know.

We've already studied some rather interesting chapters, but these take us into new territory.

We are currently in the final section of the book that declares the future blessings

we have in Jesus Christ.

Yes, there was partial fulfillment of many of these promises when Israel returned from

exile, but most of these promises found in the final chapters of Ezekiel, find their

fulfillment in Christ, and in the future we still await.

We will also study chapters like these in Daniel and Revelation.

The events and descriptions of Ezekiel 38 through 39 fall under a category of study

known as eschatology, the study of the end times.

This study encompasses many viewpoints concerning how and when various future events will occur.

In eschatological chapters, symbolic language is often used and terms like last years and

last days indicate there is no specific date attached to the event.

In other words, we trust that God has the blueprint and He will bring about these events
