0:35.6	Over the past few days, we've studied several parables that taught us more about Judas
0:41.3	demise, but also the restoration provided through Jesus Christ.
0:47.0	Today, we take a brief break from the parables and will instead further understand God's
0:53.8	judgment through imagery.
0:56.8	In both chapters, we will see God's glory and sovereignty on display as he holds each
1:03.1	and every event of history in his hands.
1:07.0	In chapter 20, we read that the elders once again approach Ezekiel to inquire of the Lord.
1:15.2	These elders were the leaders of the captives already in Babylon, but even though they
1:21.2	were far removed from their homeland, they still struggled with the same sins.
1:27.5	God's answer to these elders is to remind them of their sinful history and why he has acted
1:33.6	on the be of their sinful nation over and over again.
1:39.8	As you read this chapter, I hope all that we've studied so far concerning Israel's history
1:45.4	sounded familiar.
