0:34.0	Today we come to chapters 18 and 19.
0:38.2	These two chapters show us the necessity of a Savior due to our sin and God's faithfulness
0:44.4	to send the Messiah to make us right before Him.
0:48.3	The Lord will continue to use parables to help the people see their depravity and need
0:53.4	for Him.
0:54.4	So, let's get started with chapter 18.
0:58.5	Thus far, the majority of Ezekiel's prophecies have been directed to those still living in
1:04.7	Judah.
1:06.0	Their judgment was certain.
1:08.5	Chapter 18 shifts focus and addresses those who are already living in exile.
1:15.3	The Lord begins by addressing a proverb that was being used by the people to complain.
1:22.1	They felt that the present generation of Israelites was being punished for the sin of their predecessors.
1:29.6	In other words, they didn't want to take responsibility for their own sin.
