1:30.2	and this is exciting because our guest today is a woman who has undertaken the
1:40.1	mission of finding justice for abuse survivors in a very different way.
1:47.0	So today I want to introduce our guest. Her name is Catherine Rents. Welcome to the program.

1:56.0	Thank you. This is going to be a very different but intersecting topic that we're going to be talking about today.
2:03.6	So I'm going to start by asking Catherine to tell us a little bit about yourself and your
2:07.9	background and who you are.

2:11.6	Sure. I am a journalist and filmmaker and I usually focus on underreported, under-investigated stories.
2:21.0	I come from Texas originally and it was there where I learned at a fairly early age
2:29.2	that some people in power don't always tell the truth. Texas is like a lot of other places but I would say more.
2:36.5	They say everything's bigger in Texas and it generally is but I grew up with a love of newspapers and PBS and my first job out of journalism
