I'm Jason Lee, the vice mayor of Stockton, California.

I have to tell you something that happened that I didn't even tell you.

I was invited to go to speak at an MLK event last week on behalf of the city as the vice mayor.

And they didn't acknowledge me.

They just didn't, they just said city council members are here, whatever.

And so people in the audience started yelling, the vice mayor is here, the vice mayor is here.

And they still didn't acknowledge it.

It was like, okay, whatever.

And some of the pastors that were up,

there were pastors who had,

uh,

supported my opponent.

So I know some people just haven't reconciled with the fact that I won.

I'm the new vice mayor.

And district six,

but anyway.

So I just sat there with the Assemblywoman and the senators team and the

congresspeople saying, whatever.

And then the bishop, who was a guest from out of town, comes up to speak, and his whole

message is trouble comes to town.
