Summary

Short answer–absolutely we are. But not in a good way. From addiction to tech, to feeding the outrage machine, to diminishing our capacity to do deep work, our phones are stunting our growth into Christ-likeness and Jay helps us figure out how to get out of the vicious cycle.
Jay serves as the lead pastor at WestGate Church in the Silicon Valley and is the author of several books including: Analog Church (IVP, 2020), Analog Christian (2022) (which is the focus of our podcast conversation), 40 Days through the Book: Colossians (2022), and a contributing author to Before You Lose Your Faith (2021), Red Skies (2022), and The Upside Down Kingdom Study Bible (2024). His written work has also been featured in Christianity Today, The Gospel Coalition, Missio Alliance, Outreach, and Relevant Magazine.
