Running Explained podcast. I am Elizabeth. This week, I'm going to be recapping the Chicago Marathon,

which just happened on Sunday, October 9th, and I ran it.

And I had a bunch of my athletes and other coaches on my team run it.

And it was such a great experience.

First off, I want to say that this will be more of a recap, like a review of the race,

like a recap of what it was like to run a marathon major,

including the days before and the days after.

I personally did not have a very good day.

And that's okay.

This is something that I'm still processing with my coach.

We have a plan moving forward.

It was one of those non-specific like like, things just didn't feel that good.

And I didn't really know why. I do have some huge wins to take away from it. And the experience

was of running the marathon, I really enjoyed. So if everybody's like, how did your race go?

Talk about your race recap. I'm not here to talk about how my race personally went because it was just 26 miles

of being really uncomfortable and then keep increasing uncomfortable and then like, oh my gosh,

this is this is so hard. Why am I doing this again? So yes, it would be a very monotonous recap.
