0:31.8	Like yesterday, chapters 10 through 12 share the prophetic visions the Lord gave Daniel.
0:38.8	While some have been partially fulfilled, there are others we still await.
0:43.8	I will go ahead and warn you.
0:45.8	Today is filled with a lot of history.
0:49.8	My historical nerdy heart loves it, but I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea, so hang with me.
0:55.8	I'm going to make it as simple as possible, and hopefully we will see even admits the more difficult portions to understand
1:03.8	that we can trust God's sovereignty and look forward in hope to His eternal kingdom.
1:10.8	Let's get started with chapter 10.
1:13.8	Once again, we are given a time marker.
1:17.8	Daniel's vision at the Tigris River takes place during the third year of King Cyrus' reign.
1:25.8	That tells us a couple of things.
1:28.8	First, Cyrus would have already given the edict that a group of exiles could return to Jerusalem.
1:36.8	And second, Daniel didn't join them.
1:40.8	This was likely due to his advanced age.
1:43.8	He would have been in his 80s at this point.
