Parents possess spiritual authority over their

children. Their prayers have elevated power. An employer or owner of a

business possesses spiritual authority over the company, its employees, and its

assets. A homeowner has spiritual authority over his home. You get the

picture. But there are areas where spiritual and earthly realms diverge.

For example, as a homeowner, you can dwell inside a house that is legally yours.

But because of your sinful actions, you may have lost spiritual

authority over it. Just because you continue to dwell in it does not make you its legal owner and if you're living in a place

that legally belongs to demons well you're going to have trouble because

I've heard a saying among veteran exorcists, you don't choose to be an exorcist.

Exercism finds you. My experience attests to this. My first encounter with a demon occurred just after I was ordained a deacon and was serving in my pastoral year. I had no formal training and exorcism, but the priests at the parish where I served

handled all the deliverance and exorcism cases of the Archdiocese.
