0:32.3	Pete's coming to us from New York and he is a pastor there but also leads this incredible
0:37.3	ministry called Emotional Healthy Discipleship and this is your passion Pete. Tell us a little bit about how that came to be.
0:43.4	Well, Jenny, it was, I came in through pain,
0:47.6	which is probably how lots of truth comes to us.
0:49.6	I mean, I was a Christian 17 years,
0:51.4	was pasturing a church year in Queens, New York City.
0:54.3	You know, again, 17 years of Christian had been through the best seminary's, best leadership
0:58.5	conferences, and we basically it wasn't working well. I mean on a number of levels it was very obvious the
1:06.0	discipleship we were doing was shallow. People weren't changing very deeply and then I
1:10.4	myself was exhausted and tired, was not enjoying Jesus.
1:13.4	I was working for Jesus, but not enjoying him.
1:15.4	And then one of our congregations, we had planted four or five churches,

1:19.2	And I found myself very angry and furious.
1:22.1	And again, I didn't have any theology for emotions what to do with my
1:24.8	anger and rage and depression and then my wife my marriage wasn't going well and
