Tiffany here and today our journey in kings and chronicles continues.

In the days ahead, we will study many of Judas and Israel's kings.

As we walk through these narratives, it can be easy to get lost and allow our minds to wander with so many names and places.

So let me encourage you to stay engaged.

One of the best ways to do that is to look at a list of the kings.

They can be found in a study Bible or any type of Bible handbook.

If you have the daily grace codes Bible handbook, you can find the list on page 80.

Looking at a map will also be helpful as you acquaint yourself with the newly formed Northern and Southern kingdoms of Israel and Judah.

This is an interesting time in the life of God's people in both territories.

Our tale of two kings today begins a pattern over the coming weeks.

As we study, kings who walked in sin and abandoned the Lord and kings who were good and did what was right in the side of the Lord.

Through it all, we will see God's faithfulness to his covenant promises.

And today, we will be reminded that all who seek the Lord will find him.

So let's jump in.
