0:30.2	Today, we come to first Corinthians chapters 10 through 12 in our chronological journey.
0:36.2	These three chapters cover a lot of teaching from Paul on various topics.
0:41.6	Some are easy to grasp, while others are a little more difficult.
0:45.5	As we walk through each chapter and learn more about what it means to grow in holiness,
0:51.0	we will see that our goal in everything we do is to imitate Christ.
0:56.5	He is our perfect example, and through his life and the word, we have all we need to
1:02.1	rely on him and walk in sanctification.
1:05.7	In chapter 10, Paul provides the Corinthians with a history lesson from the wilderness
1:11.1	wanderings of the Israelites.
1:14.2	Everything that happened to the Israelites serves as an example to the Corinthians and
1:19.2	believers across history of these very behaviors and habits we must avoid.
1:26.0	We are not to be idolaters, commit sexual immorality, we don't test the Lord nor do we complain.
1:33.9	And though these things are temptations, we must remember that God is not the tempter.
