The Good evening and welcome to Monsters Among Us, the Tuesday edition.

I'm your guide, Derek Hayes.

It is a real pleasure running into you outside of our usual Thursday hangout.

Maybe we should meet here more often.

Because I have a whole heap of horror stories to share

with you this evening. But first, remember these Tuesday shows are a little bit different. Instead

of running the gambit of paranormal subjects, on Tuesdays we instead focus solely on one subject, one topic, one protagonist.

And tonight is no different.

But good luck pinning the subject down.

The phenomena goes by many names.

Shadow figures, shadow entities, black masses,. Shadow figures, shadow entities.

Black masses, the hat man, shadow man.

We're just plain old shadow people.

Regardless of what you want to call them.

It's a phenomena that's been occurring across geographical and cultural boundaries

for the better part of a quarter century.
