There is a very, very popular show on Netflix called Making a Murder. I know you've all seen it.

You're all very, very interested in the case of Stephen Avery.

You've all taken one or two looks at the program,

and you all have opinions on that show. The book that was out there before making a murderer is

wrecking crew by John Ferret demolishing the case against Stephen Avery.

It's celebrating its fifth anniversary in

November of 2023 and it's been re-released with a new epilogue with a new interview

with Stephen Avery and his attorney Catherine Selma.

And I got the privilege of being able to read the book over the weekend and take a look at this new interview with

Stephen Avery and be able to read the book once again and take a look at John Ferrik's work and kind of see the case again through this perspective and really

break down the case again and see some things that I wanted to ask John about and bring up this case again because I think when we get into that rush of the making the well the for lack of a better term the the

Stephen Avery case and in getting getting behind that fervor of the Netflix fervor, if you will, a lot of people were enraged

when it first came out and they wanted to get behind Stephen Avery and then it died down.

And now Stephen Avery sits in a jail cell.

And nothing's happened.

There's been no appeal. There's been no

moving of the wheels of justice. There's been no

look at the case. There's been no look at what's been going on with the

ancillary players in this. There's a theory that Bobby Dassie was the killer in this case. He was the one who killed Teresa

Hallbach. We'll ask John Ferrick about that. And we'll deal in that theory that's been sitting in the background here for so long.

And why have the wheels of justice in Wisconsin been turning so slowly.
