Hey there. We've got a sequel of sorts today. We had our guests on last year, April, I believe of 2022, discuss her book, First Degree, Rage, the true story of the assassin, an obsession and murder.

And she has her second book out in the series, Raging on the Rage True Crime series. We are back with Detective Paula May to discuss this case as it continues to evolve for her. Thank you so much for coming back with us Detective May.

All right. So for our listeners, again, this episode appeared last April, April of 2020. So you can find it in the archives. But to catch listeners up and for newer listeners that would like to jump in feet first, can you give us a synopsis of the first book?

And I remember the chilling quote you had from that book, there was no brown in his eyes at all. They were just two black buttons. I looked in his eyes, all I saw was solid black against the whites. It wasn't natural. It was creepy, unnerving, demonic.

This story was really chilling. I remember getting so many different emails from people listening to this tale and this true crime story unfold. So if you could set the stage for us again on where we started in the first book and then we'll launch into where the story continues.
