Today is Thursday, August 24th, my name is Jeff Dollar, and today I am grateful for kind

children.

Ellie and I went to the pool yesterday, and there were a group of kids.

Our neighborhood pool has a big pool, a regular normal pool, and then it has a little 18

inch waiting little kids pool.

Yeah.

And there's never anyone in the little kids pool, but today, or yesterday rather, for whatever

reason, there were four people for little kids in there.

And one of them was just so nice and could tell that Ellie was kind of intimidated or

whatever about joining their group.

And went out of her way to bring Ellie a little toy, bring her an inflatable ask her

if she liked the water.

And I just, I thought that was very cool.

There's this little girl at Ellie's school that she always talks about.

The girl is definitely at least like two grades older than Ellie.

And Ellie thinks she hung the moon.

Like Ellie talks about her like they are best buds.

And so obviously they've had some sort of interaction.

Yeah.

And Ellie wanted to go approach her and talk to her at the like open house, meet the teacher

thing.

She didn't her mom was like super nice or whatever.
