jumping back in for Chapter 8 and it takes a little transition here. We've been

talking about our emotions and now we're actually going to

move forward and what to do with them. Well and this is a huge part of the book. I

knew when I laid out the book for the very first time it's so cool years ago. I mean five years ago I found

this little bitty note in my notes in my phone where I had written an idea for this book.

And I mean we're talking before get out of your head even and it was this little line that said write a book about emotions and give a process of how to deal with them in your own heart.

That was the concept because I think I felt even years ago like I just

want to know what to do and everything I'd ever read and especially in the last

few years has I've read a especially in the last few years has read a lot about emotions

almost everybody talks about emotions they talk about the reason we feel things

how to heal from them but nobody like gave it practical to do like this is what we do and I know that's

part of my fix itself coming out in an emotional book but I do want to give

everybody like handles that's what I always have pictured with this book is it's going to feel like I'm calling you into the abyss and you're coming down into the darkness, but you're going to find, oh my gosh, there's a handle and I can put my foot there and I can put my hand there and this isn't so scary anymore.

And so we're going to talk about this process and it's so simple.

In fact, it's so simple that I was talking to a guy the other day on an interview

and he had read the book and he named him right off,

like right off the bat without anything in front of him or any notes, you remembered. It is notice, name, feel, share, and shoes.

Simple. These are simple things that to some degree you could read the list and go I already know how to do all that but we're going to walk you through it because I don't think we do if we all did these five things every time we felt in the motion
