we've got to talk about the Dunning Kruger effect. The Dunning Kruger effect is a cognitive bias.

It was described by David Dunning and Justin Krueger in 1999, and it is simply this.

People with limited competence in a particular domain overestimate their abilities in that domain.

A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing, a little bit of ability in something.

Many people who have limited ability in something think they're an expert.
