It's crazy. Well, we've got got a good show for you lined up here. Michael T. Keane is the author of eight books about the unusual but true stories including his most recent work New York City's Heart Island a cemetery of strangers. We'll talk about that a little bit later on in today's program.

But Michael is also the producer of the documentary video visions true stories of spiritualism, secret societies and murder as well as eight audio books.

Thank you, Dave. Let's let's get into the information about the documentary. I mean, this is this is cool. It's an award-winning film. First of all, I mean, you kind of focus on kind of the political, social and religious movements back in the 19th century, everything from the Masonic secrets, murder and conspiracies, Native American folklore and the paranormal.

So it's it's really kind of got a little bit of everything that our listeners love so much. So we will have a link up to your website on our page of people want to go and buy the books by the DVDs.

But Michael, let's, you know, starting to get into this. Why such a mixed genre of a of a documentary most times, documentaries focus on one specific thing. I love that this has kind of a different vibe to the to the whole flow.

But what kind of encouraged you to take that approach and in telling the story?

Right. I guess if I knew from the beginning of what everything like this would have ended up to be, maybe I wouldn't have done it in the first place.

But we have to we have to flash back 15 years ago. And at that time, I was a mild mannered financial planner working for a rather large financial services company.

But I always had an interest in history. And so just for fits and giggles, I decided to look into the history of Rochester, New York.

And that's where I lived and that's where I worked. And as I did, I began to find strands of a story that unfolded over a period of about four years.

So it wasn't that it all came to me at one time. And I suppose the best place to begin, as they say, is at the beginning.

There was a fellow by the name of John C. McCurdy who in 1901 comes the Rochester to seek fame and fortune. That was his objective.

He had moved from Philadelphia where he had lived and where he had become a very successful business, but he had sold all of his business interests.

And for six months, he traveled up and down the east coast of the United States, seeking a new destination for his next venture.
