So I'm your host, Joe Winger, my family and I have been home sitting out here on the wide open the Wyoming prairie for over a decade now and I love to teach people old-fashioned skills that just make life better. So today's episode is one I have been promising for a very long time and we finally are

sitting down to make it happen. And by we I mean Kristen and I, he's back.

So, the topic today is kind of a bit of a personal storytelling of this crazy endeavor we have participated in for the last year and a half and that is starting a charter school in our tiny little town of 175 people.

And you know, in of itself that is a big project, but it's kind of a weird project for people like

us.

We are a homeschool family, we're

entrepreneurs, and it just people are like, what? You did what? Why are you engaged in this

project? And so there's a lot of pieces. It's kind of a heck of a story. I've said several times it should be like a hallmark movie at some point because there were good guys and bad guys and drama and valleys and mountains and so I still can't really believe it happened the way it did but it did.

So we're going to do our best to give you some of the juicy bits today behind the scenes, a little bit of a tell-all.

A major journey for us.

Yes.

We learned a lot and it almost killed us, but I'm glad we did it.
