in waiting for it for quite a while. Oh yes. And great, great timing of this. This is

something, especially having kind of, as we talked a couple weeks ago, my own little

crisis of faith of what exactly is it that we're involved in? What is it exactly that

we're experiencing and what comes next? Well, we got a guest that might be able to shed

some light on this for us. Our guest this evening for the next two hours, Dr. Evan Alexander.

And if you recognize that name, that's because you've heard of his book, Proof of Heaven,

a neurosurgeon's journey into the afterlife. Dr. Alexander, a renowned academic neurosurgeon,

spent over three decades honing his scientific worldview. He thought he knew how the brain

and mind worked and a transcendental near death experience in which he was driven to the

brink of death and spent a week deep in coma from an inexplicable brain infection changed

all of that form completely. He's here this evening to share his story with us. Dr. Alexander,

welcome to the show. They thanks for having me. It's great to be here. Science and the

supernatural. This is one of those kind of things that you just, you know, you never think

is going to actually finally butt heads and in your world that truly did. They did. And

in fact, I would say that's what what I'm saying as the awakening coming to this world is

a synthesis of science and spirituality that really takes the greatest wisdom of the

spiritual traditions, both East and West from the last few thousand years, with kind

of the leading edges of our scientific endeavors and cosmology and all of it is leading into

a synthesis that I believe will be absolutely revolutionary in human destiny.
