there, I got to tell you, I'm not a watcher of the award shows. When I was a kid, I did,

but they've just become too self-reverential nonsense, liberal, boring, preachy pablum, the Emmys,

the Oscars, and the like.

But I was just reading during commercial break that the show Shogun wrapped up, just mopped up, massive, massive piles of awards.

And it is so well earned.

Shogun is one of the best shows on television in the last decade for sure.
