Summary

David’s feeling a little off today and thinks he might be getting some tummy trouble. So Joe takes the conversational lead and tells him about wanting to be liked by people, inspired by seeing his gym instructor getting a nice compliment from a customer. Then David has an idea to tell Joe about his Inspector Lindley audition, in as much detail as possible. The only problem is, Joe reckons David’s told that story on the pod plenty of times before. But he kicks off regardless, before quickly being completely sidetracked talking about the nasty old couple he gardened for at the time and the girl he really fancied when he was 12, who lived in the same area.
