Fresh off the back of Golden Globe wins, we natter with this Toronto mensch from his childhood home and discuss his love of Heat magazine, London and working with his family.

He's not a fan of vegetables is our Dan, with a carb heavy last supper, but we forgive him as he makes us swoon over Schitt's Creek stories, his Pret order and his karaoke song choice. Now I'm desperate to set him up with Dr Alex so he can become my brother in law.
