especially today, as we tried to tackle the case we started last time, if you'll remember.

Sniffy and I were bamboozled by a cat named Dr. Handkerchief,

who claimed to be the identical twin sister of my nemesis, Professor Mittens. Now we know that Dr. Handkerchief was really just Professor Mittens in disguise.

She put a grandiose scheme into motion so that she could get into Bean's doghouse. We realized the truth too late, and by that time, Professor Mittens was in the wind with all of Bean's stuff.

It's up to Sniffy and I, and all of you, junior detectives, to write this wrong and find Professor Mittens.

I can't believe we didn't realize Dr. Hankerchief was actually Professor Mithens.

That's on us.
