And I wanted to add a fact to your great discussion about the Hispanic vote, and the mainstream media often overlooks the fact that there are around

45,000 Hispanic evangelical Hispanic churches in the United States, and Reverend Sam Rodriguez,

who has the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, actually gave the

invocation during the Trump inauguration. So this is an entity that is usually overlooked

because they're Christians, they're conservatives, But they are making tremendous inroads into our voting.

They are.

And it's something I think the Democrats don't pay much attention to because they

buy the prevailing narrative of the mainstream media, which to a large degree has for a long time advanced the theory that demography is destiny.

Arlene, thank you for raising that point because it's something I think a lot of people miss.

And this gets somewhat to where I want to go.

But let me make this point.

I actually had to research this when I was in college.

In 1972, I think it was in the Washington Post,

was the first time the, after Richard Nixon's reelection,

was really the first time members of the press began

to gravitate towards the idea that demography was destiny and given at the time it was black

voters given the growth of black population of this country that the Republicans would

have harder and harder times winning
