Iranian-backed militants have stormed the U.S. Embassy in Yemen. They have seized hostages and equipment.

The State Department is working to secure the release of those hostages. An Iran-back terrorist group has stormed the U.S.

embassy in Sana'y Yemen. U.S. officials have confirmed to the Washington Free Beacon. You will

notice this is only just now starting to become a national story. It is happening. News hitting

the wires here seven after the hour. It is noon if you're listening in delay.

The State Department has confirmed that the staffers have been taken hostage by the militants

and property has been stolen after breaching the U.S. facility in Sana in Yemen.

It houses U.S. Embassy staff. There was suspension of operations there in 2015, but there were still staffers working.

These are not American citizens that have been taken.

These have been Yemeni citizens who are working for the American Embassy.

They have been pulled out of the embassy.

Their location is not known. And equipment that had been housed at the embassy has also been pulled out of the embassy their location is not known and equipment
