redemption and we want to spend five minutes every day journeying through the

My name is Alexa, and today we finish our study of the Book of Psalms by looking at Psalms 146 through 150.

In Psalm 146, the Psalms praises God for who God is and what he has done.

Instead of trusting in men, the Psalms trust in God, knowing that God is his one true help.

The Psalms writes how God executes justice for the oppressed, gives food to the hungry,

sets prisoners free, and provides for the orphan of the

widow. In Psalm 147, the Psalmists continues to praise God's faithfulness,

specifically focusing on Jerusalem. The Psalm thanks God for how he restore Jerusalem after Israel's exile.

He writes how God heal the wounds of his people, strengthen their city,

and gave prosperity to their land.

The Psalmas also speaks to God's great might and his

providential hand in creation. These works of God calls the Psalms to encourage all of Jerusalem

to sing praises to God. In Psalm.

The Psalmist continues to praise God. He calls every aspect of creation to praise the

Lord. Angels, the stars, the animals, the mountains, and all of the people of the Earth. The Psalmist writes how God just the

animals, the mountains, and all of the people of the earth. The Psalmus writes how God deserves praise for his creative hand,

but also his saving hand, and how he raised up a horn for his people.

In Psalm 149 and Psalm 150 the theme of praise continues. The Psalmist

calls Israel to celebrate their God. He encourages them to sing and play instruments
