the book of Luke looking at chapter 16 17 and 18. Jesus again

is continuing to teach primarily through parables. Chapter 16 has an emphasis

The first parable is about the dishonest manager.

He has a steward who is wicked.

He doesn't properly steward his master's resources.

When he is about to be punished, the steward shows himself to be shrewd.

He goes to the master's debtors and gives them a discount so that when the steward is kicked
