Welcome back to a year in the Bible of Daily Grace. My name is Alexa, and today we are

0:26.9

finishing our study of Judges by reading Judges 19-21. As we open up chapter 19, read

me that there is no king in Israel. Israel has rejected the spiritual authority of the

1:30.2

So the Levi and man sends out his concubine instead. Read how this poor woman is sexually

assaulted, abused, and left for dead. When the Levi and man goes out to her in the

1:41.3

morning and sees that she is dead, he cuts off her body in 12 pieces and sends out those

1:47.2

pieces to the 12th chapter of Israel. When the people of Israel hear of this awful act,

1:53.1

they are outraged. They decide to seek justice and kill the men who did these terrible acts

to the women. These evil men in Ghibia are part of the type of Benjamin. In their sin,
