Welcome to a year in the Bible with daily grace. The Bible tells one big story of

redemption and we want to spend five minutes every day journeying through the Bible from start to finish, and exploring how all of it

points to Jesus.

Welcome back, Daily Grace Family. My name is Tiffany, and it has been an absolute joy to walk with

you through the Book of Isaiah. I can't believe it, but it is our final day in this great book.

For 22 days now, we have seen God's glory and sovereignty on display.

We've walked through the discipline of Israel and Judah,

seen many prophecies fulfilled in Christ,

and joyfully anticipated Jesus' future return. Isaiah has had much to say, and today in chapter 64 through 66,

we take a look at his final words.

Today we start with Isaiah 63 verses 15 through 19 which is part of the

prayer found in Isaiah 64. These five verses in Isaiah 63 are spoken by Isaiah also known as the

intercessor in this particular section. Isaiah's intercessory prayer or petition

on the people's behalf began by reminding God of all he has done.

Now Isaiah reminds God of who he is.

Isaiah declares that the Lord is indeed the Father and Redeemer of his children.

V. 17 isn't meant to imply that God causes us to sin, but forces us to acknowledge that without God's

intervention of grace, there is nothing to stop us from our sinful ways.

Isaiah is asking God to intercede for his people.

As the prayer spills into chapter 64,

the intercessor pleads with God to come down. We know that through Jesus he did

indeed come down. Jesus came to the earth and brought salvation to mankind.
