Welcome back to a year in the Bible of daily grace. My name is Katie and I'm so excited

to jump into Exodus with you today. We'll be covering chapters one through three.

Exodus is the redemption story of God's people from slavery. It's the story of God

remembering and delivering His people. We begin chapter one with the Israelites in Egypt.

After Joseph died, they continued to multiply and become fruitful under God's blessing.

The Egyptians became frightened of their grown numbers and placed them into cruel slavery.

the Egyptian. Pharaoh heard word and kicked Moses out of the Roa household. Moses fled

for his life. He found safety with the priest of Median and eventually married one of his

daughters. All the while, God's people were still in slavery. But God heard their cries.

He sympathized with them and began to work out a miraculous escape plan. And Moses was

this chosen leader. Moses now a shepherd for his father-in-law encounters God in the form
