| 1:39.0 | The reason I thought to contact Christine in the first place is because what I remembered about her from Omega is she came in very angry. |
| 1:47.0 | And I know that anger is the primary emotion that Dr. Sarno always connects to the syndrome of TMS and all-mind body related illness and pain and different symptoms. |
| 2:03.0 | And I have expanded that to include fear and shame and regret and embarrassment and trauma and all the things I talk about. |
| 2:14.0 | But anger is still a huge reason that we experience pain because anger is so unacceptable in our society. |
| 2:22.0 | We are so much more well received when we're sad or we're scared but to be angry is really punished. |
| 2:29.0 | And so I think that it's really important to highlight when someone's willing to talk about anger and to see how she was able to overcome it and to see why it was there and why it was so necessary for her to feel through it. |
| 2:46.0 | So I'll never forget Christine's anger and her bravery at opening her mouth in Omega and just saying I am so angry and allowing herself to do what needed to be done to be heard in her own mind body system and in the group and then have her have such a transformation. |
| 3:04.0 | So I contacted her also because Christine is an active member of my journal speak page and I love to hear the wonderful advice she's always giving people there. |
