I remember watching a talk on web animation, but it wasn't cartoon Pixar Animation. It was about animating parts of a website.

The speaker was going on about how we can use CSS animation to bring our pages to life, and I thought,

it's a form. Why would I need to bring it to life? It sounded so gimmicky. But then they gave a demo and showed what it looked like. There was a form.

And instead of flat dead fields, the boxes moved when they were full, shook when there was an error, popped into place when you moved to the next step.

They came to life just like the speaker promised, but it didn't look gimmicky.
