Chelsea miked up in my home office as I head towards a transition to bright new

horizons in a new home kind of Chelsea, exciting things on the horizon.

Can you tell how little I want to talk about that drubbing at the hands of

Byron Munich?

I promise you we'll get into it briefly.

We will talk about Willie and his departure, what that means for this club, and we will concentrate

on the future because there are so many things to be excited about as a Chelsea's supporter.

Chris Wittingham, the Neutral Observer and I I will guide you through it. We inched across the line. Some of us heavier than we were before

this season started. I know I speak for myself there. Some of us wearing the most recent year of not just our lives but Chelsea football support.

It was a roller coaster year, a year that was unprecedented in so many ways.

A transitional year, we close the book on one season

and a Chelsea career in William and in Pedro,

and we look towards a horizon for the numerous exciting things are happening to

this club I am already rationalizing an aggregate beat down at the hands of

Byron Munich. How so, Mike?

Chris, I was on a remote island on a vacation that I had booked before all this madness

started, not anticipating that I would be watching Champions League football.

Now, it was a bit of a romantic getaway. I watched Champions League football from a copper

tub overlooking the ocean.
