Hi, we've all heard Einstein's line that we won't solve the problems of the world from

the level of thinking we were at when we created them.

There's a sense that we need a new kind of thinking if we're going to find the kind

of transformational opportunities and solutions that we need in our country and in our world

right now.

21st century thinking, it's different than 20th century.

It needs to be just like the 20th century mindset was different than the 19th.

The 20th century mindset was very mechanistic.

It posited the scientific worldview that the world is a big machine and if you want to

change the world, you just change the pieces of the machine.

21st century is different.

There's a much more holistic, integrative, and whole person attitude because we know

how much consciousness matters.

We know that everything that happens on the outside is a symptom, is a product, is an

effect of something that happened on the inside.

Consciousness is the level of cause.

Thoughts do matter, feelings do matter.

What happens inside a person does matter, not only to changing one person's life, but

to changing a society.

On this podcast, we're going to be talking to people who I think are doing fascinating

work, not only on outer change, but on inner change.

And we're talking to that variety of people because I think that all of those levels
