0:16.0 | So we first started and just kind of figuring out what the heck we were all doing. |
0:22.0 | I just used my headset mic and we just got a Dacity and we had some volunteers help out a bit. |
0:29.0 | After that, we got better mics. Eventually convinced everyone to get better mics. |
0:33.0 | So we're all using blue Yeti mics now. |
0:36.0 | And we have learned a lot. |
0:40.0 | I went from having zero sound knowledge to having a little sound knowledge. |
0:45.0 | Obviously it's still a totally new world for me, but I can at least understand the terminology at some extent. |

0:56.0 | That's assuming I like it. No. |
0:58.0 | It's really different. It's not something I have experience with. |
1:01.0 | It's not a format I'm used to using. |
1:03.0 | And it's almost frustrating sometimes because I'm used to writing where I can carefully lay out everything. |
1:11.0 | There's no risk of a misstatement or accidentally not being precise enough because you just go back and edit it. |
1:17.0 | Whereas with a podcast, oftentimes I'll say something and then realize later, |
1:22.0 | that was not as precise as it meant to be or that may have given the wrong impression. |
1:26.0 | And you can't just easily, you know, delete and make a quick edit. |
1:31.0 | So it's definitely a change both in the making of it and the revising process. |
1:40.0 | But it's been fun just because it's new, I think. |
1:43.0 | You know, it's fun to take up something totally new and just see how far I can take it. |
