| 0:00.0 | Welcome to a year in the Bible with daily grace. The Bible tells one big story of |
| 0:07.0 | redemption and we want to spend five minutes every day journeying through the Bible from start to finish, and exploring how all of it |
| 0:16.8 | points to Jesus. Hey everybody. Thanks for joining me today on a year in the Bible with daily grace. |
| 0:28.9 | My name is Jenny and today we are beginning 2 Corinthians. |
| 0:33.0 | Before we get into this book, let's get into a bit of the background. |
| 0:37.0 | You may remember from studying 1st Corinthians |

| 1:24.7 | 2 Corinthians, we will also see that some of the other Corinthians accepted Paul's |
| 1:29.3 | teachings and were repentant over their sins. |
| 1:33.0 | This leads us to the themes of 2 Corinthians |
| 1:36.0 | which are the reconciliation of the Corinthians with Paul, |
| 1:40.0 | the importance of Christian giving, |
| 1:42.0 | and the warnings against false teachers. |
| 1:45.2 | Now that you have a little background about 2 Corinthians, let's jump right into today's reading. |
| 1:51.3 | So these first few chapters are essentially Paul accepting |
| 1:55.1 | the Corinthians apology. As he does that he also comforts the Corinthians who are |
| 2:00.5 | ashamed by how they have treated Paul and sinned against God. |
