Let's talk about our dressing room a bit. So we mentioned Neil Rudler, Julie Dix coming

in, then you had David James, Bruce Grubble, Mark Wright, Robbie Fowler, Dominic Mateo,

Steven Manerman, and then you got Russian Barnes. This is in soonest in charge, one of

the spiciest dressing rooms in Premier League history. I think in Russia it kicked off a

lot around that time. What are your memories of being in that dressing room with those

characters?

Yeah, it was in a collective band, because we were like a new breed of Robbie Fowler

and Steven Manerman, they're still my good mates, they're my best mates because I went

there as a time when there was so much going on at the club, so much in fighting for

the wrong work, but there was some transition going on. You act to really stand your corner

because although the older players were great with you, everyone's looking after themselves,

and that's when you need, that's why people like John Barnes were so good for me, because

even though he knew in time I would be the one that sort of maybe became the midfield player

and he will sort of pass it on a little bit like I actually was Steven. If you've got

anything about you and you're a good human, that's what you do. You know, you try to do

the right things at some of the eyes, certainly dear, because I had good role models, but

it was a really, yeah, it was a fierce dressing room, really fierce, and also some great

players. I remember like the time with Ian Rush, but we need to think about the forwards.

Now, Rush, he was so good. It was an education, my first day in training, I joined him with

a first team, and you know, I remember getting someone passing the board, you know, I was
