Quickly Kevin Will He Score? - S07 EP2: Jamie Redknapp (Part 2 of 2) ** THIS IS PART 2 - IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY, PLEASE GO BACK AND LISTEN TO THE FIRST PART ** Joining us in the studio this week it's the Liverpool and England legend, Mr Jamie Redknapp. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it turns out Jamie didn't actually write the column he had in Smash Hits in the 90s'. It was ghost written. He never even read it. We feel like Woodward and Bernstein. He does however tell us all about 'THAT' night out in the build up to Euro 96, and an astonishing tale of Don Hutchinson and Graeme Souness mixing it up on the training ground. And the postbag contains Chris' all time favourite piece of correspondence. It's safe to say you'll never look at a Boost chocolate bar the same way again. This is part two of Jamie Redd. Now if you haven't listened to part one, do help yourself

if not, here's part two.

0:13.3

Let's talk about our dressing room a bit. So we mentioned Neil Rudler, Julie Dix coming

0:20.0

in, then you had David James, Bruce Grubble, Mark Wright, Robbie Fowler, Dominic Mateo,

0:24.3

Steven Manerman, and then you got Russian Barnes. This is in soonest in charge, one of

0:29.3

the spiciest dressing rooms in Premier League history. I think in Russia it kicked off a

0:34.0

lot around that time. What are your memories of being in that dressing room with those

0:37.0

characters?

0:38.0

Yeah, it was in a collective band, because we were like a new breed of Robbie Fowler

0:44.0

and Steven Manerman, they're still my good mates, they're my best mates because I went

0:47.4

there as a time when there was so much going on at the club, so much in fighting for

0:52.0

the wrong work, but there was some transition going on. You act to really stand your corner

0:56.1

because although the older players were great with you, everyone's looking after themselves,

1:00.6

and that's when you need, that's why people like John Barnes were so good for me, because

1:03.5

even though he knew in time I would be the one that sort of maybe became the midfield player

1:07.7

and he will sort of pass it on a little bit like I actually was Steven. If you've got

1:12.9

anything about you and you're a good human, that's what you do. You know, you try to do

1:16.6

the right things at some of the eyes, certainly dear, because I had good role models, but

1:19.8

it was a really, yeah, it was a fierce dressing room, really fierce, and also some great

1:25.9

players. I remember like the time with Ian Rush, but we need to think about the forwards.

1:29.4

Now, Rush, he was so good. It was an education, my first day in training, I joined him with

1:35.1

a first team, and you know, I remember getting someone passing the board, you know, I was
