Summary

In this weeks episode we reflect on the theme of our Royalty and how we are adopted daughters and sons of the King and therefore we are royal. We discuss the themes from the women's retreat we did together in British Columbia last week and share about God's invitation to us, our identity, how to grow in intimacy with Him, and our royal inheritance.

How do you usually approach God? Fearful, boldly, only when you need something?
What is the narrative in your heart and mind about your identity? Is it God's narrative?
Most of us come from a defeated mindset, but what would it look like to operate from a place of victory in your life?

0:21.0	I am Sister Miriam James and I am joined after a wonderful and delightful weekend at Heather's
0:27.0	Women's Retreat. I'm joined by my lovely co-host and partner in crime and fellow two-lip festival goers.
0:33.0	Heather Kim and Michelle Benzinger ladies I know we're all just tired about how tired we are.
0:39.0	Heather how are you doing? Were you hosted the whole thing? You did most of the work so how you doing?
0:43.0	I am doing so well. I am yes very tired but it's it's a good tired you know what I mean? Like I feel like we poured in a lot into the retreat.
0:52.0	But the beauty and the blessings were so much more than anything that we could give so I feel like it was a wonderful weekend to share and I feel very grateful about the whole thing but gosh I need a nap.
1:06.0	After all that. I deserve it. Oh my gosh. How about you Michelle? How are you this morning?
1:12.0	I am good. I'm trying to find the best position for me to sit still and try to figure out why microphone so I don't get yelled at by Heather and Jean.
1:20.0	She's in the field of position right now. I'm in the fetal position right now. I'm good. I'm yeah I'm tired so I haven't quite balanced back yet but good to go.
1:33.0	I have a big old giant Starbucks right next to me with an extra shot in it but the people at Starbucks this morning are like,
1:39.0	I'm just asking sorry to. Yeah extra shot of espresso my friend but it's funny with the people at Starbucks this morning like we've seen you almost every morning this week.
1:54.0	I'm like yeah I know it's been yeah like I need a little more love with espresso this week but all good. How are you sister?
2:04.0	I'm doing well I had a very quick turnaround. I stayed an extra day with Heather which it was just a delight to my heart to spend time with her and her family and we'd go for a long walk in the sunshine and was homeless in 24 hours and packed my bags again and now I'm out in Milwaukee helping out at a healing the whole person retreat.
2:22.0	So it's been good but I hear you I'm like you'll look up this morning going like where am I what time zone is it?
2:30.0	So did you wash your habit sister since I spilled sprite on it?
2:34.0	We were together. Listen to people it wasn't just bright it was a whole cup of coffee as well and she was going to go for a third liquid but I didn't let her so I just wanted to know that it was it turned into a bad habit.
2:44.0	Heather did wash it for me because she's a good mama and yeah so I'm not sitting next to you and beck see ever again.
2:53.0	So it's so much fun together it was so great. We laughed a lot I was thinking on my flight home just how full my heart was and just thinking God for each of you and you know it's because we shared deep communion we laughed a lot we cried we it was just such a gift and I mean I know that it blessed the women there but it certainly blessed my own heart and I didn't know how much I needed that so I just want to say thank you to the two of you especially just as a friend and a sister.
3:18.0	And we had a pretty amazing little dance party in my living room after the retreat was.
