Yeah, we've got Julie Moody Freeman with us who is the host of the Black

Romance Podcast, which is very new.

It's like shiny and so too.

We are, yeah.

I feel like we're very tarnished.

I know.

We get more and more tarnish every week.

It's fine.

You know what's really great is so we're about to interview her.

You're in here, her interview with her and she talks about, she is essentially doing interviews that are almost more like

oral history. I really enjoy reading oral histories and we can maybe I can talk about a couple that I really liked.

But I, it's such a gift to like hear the stories

of these amazing women who really were there

at the beginning of romance in the 80s and 90s.

It's just fascinating for us, but I think it's just going to be such a gift to people in the future

who are going to be able to hear the voices of these women.

There is such a real sense of us needing to do

this while we still have time to do it. As we are recording there are four episodes out but when this podcast airs there will be another one or two

And I just think that the four that are out which are Sandra Sandra Kit, Brenda Jackson, Beverly Jenkins, and Vivian,

Stevens.

I mean, just four names that everybody in romance knows.
