Summary

I tell the story of Peter Tobin in this episode.


In February 1991, Peter murdered 15-year-old Vicky Hamilton.


Six months later, In August 1991, Peter murdered 18-year-old Dinah McNicol


Peter then murdered 23-year-old Polish student Angelika Kluk 15 years later in September 2006.


A diagnosed psychopath, Peter Tobin has been labelled as a man of no recognisable humanity and is suspected of committing multiple other murders.


NOTE: Peter Tobin died of cancer on October 8, 2022. This episode was broadcast before his death.

Firstly, I'd say that American Psycho was more of a satirical black comedy novel, but I'd take your point on board nonetheless.

According to the NHS's website, psychopaths are considered to have a severe form of antisocial personality disorder, something which itself is

characterized by impulsive, irresponsible and often criminal behaviour.

Asbo, by the way, is an acronym for an antisocial behaviour order.

This was a civil order introduced in the UK by former Prime Minister Tony Blair in 1998.

They were designed to address behaviour-like intimidation, drunkenness and violence by individuals and families using civil orders rather than criminal sanctions.
