Summary

In 2010, S. Michael Wilcox lost his wife, Laurie, as the result of an inoperable brain tumor. Previously, the couple had dreams of traveling the world together. Instead, for the last decade, Wilcox has traveled alone, seeking solace from the grief of his loss and looking for confirmation from God that he is on the right track to see his beloved wife again. On this week’s episode, we discuss the lessons he has learned from loss and the truths he has found in love that lasts forever.

1:31.4	I asked Brother Wilcox, we're going to be talking today about his new book, What Seaky.
1:37.4	I asked him because I noticed, as I was listening to the audiobook, I noticed how frequently in the book you refer to your wife, Laurie.
1:49.4	We have done one episode with someone who lost a spouse, but it was still fairly new.
1:57.4	I have always wanted to do another episode because I think that's something that so many people can relate to, whether it's losing a spouse or a child or a loved one.
2:07.4	I asked Brother Wilcox if he would be up for talking a little bit more about that today.
2:12.4	He said, yes, and referred me to another book that he wrote called Sunset.
2:17.4	You wrote that book not long after your wife passed away, is that right?
