Good morning, good afternoon, good evening from all over the globe.

And we thank you all for sitting in this space with us right now because let's be clear.

We are made for times such as this.

And let me say thank you to my brother.

I wanted to, yesterday, you know, we both teach.

And I have a class, you know, writing writing class and one of my students is doing a

blog she's a she identifies herself as a white woman and she was raising a town in New York that was founded to be all white.

And so she was raising this town, many towns like it after World War II this government set up

different spaces gave you know grants and and you know other funding for people to

set up their towns and she said she didn't know until she went to college she took an African American

African American studies course and she knew the name because it's the name of her town and she was like, oh, what else

don't I know?

They never told me this in school.

So she's doing a blog where she's inviting other white folks to come and talk about what they don't know and she's angry

at her parents, she's angry at her school, she's angry at for not educating her.

And I'm encouraged because I feel like there may be a whole lot of other people out there who are also like disillusioned by what we have been taught or not taught.

And then I wake up yesterday to this caucus that is founded and what is it what do they call
