Summary

What does it mean to want to “do something?” To actually “do something,” both as a community and as an individual in community? Taking as our point of departure the fifth principle of Kwanzaa, “Nia” [Purpose], In Class leads up to our 200th weekly installment with a reflection on 2023 through our Africana Studies lens. In our 200th installment, we will look forward to 2024 and beyond in advance of what is shaping up to be a pivotal year in contemporary human history.
