Hi everybody, I'm Mike Wendland, and this is my lifelong traveling companion and my bride, Jennifer.

Hello, Mr. Mike. And we are still in Florida, the Emerald Coast, and the time that we've been here,

we've experienced two tropical storms. Two weeks, we've been here, two big storms. This last one, kind of the outer ring of

Hurricane Ida, has been quite the storm. It really hit on Sunday, and it lasted all day, Monday,

and much of Tuesday as well. So where we are in the panhandle of Florida, just a lot of wind and rain and kind of nasty

weather. Huge, beautiful waves. Yeah, but boy, just a couple hundred miles to the west of us in New Orleans,

another story. And that storm is still causing problems. It kind of loses steam, but tracks up north and east up into the Tennessee Valley.

So we hope you guys have been safe.

This is hurricane season down south.

Been crazy.

And we so appreciate having electricity and not being hit with that storm, and our hearts

go out to all those that are

suffering right now yeah it's been it's been crazy and then as we'll talk about in the news of the

week then still the fire is out west now there's a big one up in in minnesota as well so

it's been a summer of crazy crazy weather but it is now September. Can you believe that, that we're in
